HISTORY - The Austin Healey Sprite was a small two door sports car that was built from 1958-1971. Originally designed by Donald Healey it was amalgamated into the BMC conglomerate and the Mk2 became a re badged MG Midget.
The Mk1 was affectionately known as 'frogeye' and featured a 948cc engine with twin SU carburettors; the top speed was 83mph and the 0-60mph was an unbelievable slow 20.5 seconds - (Details with thanks to Wikipedia)
