HISTORY - The 3.0CSL was an homologation special for the European Touring Series of which 1,295 were built and featured a lightweight body with 230bhp; when racing it featured a large spoiler on the boot, a prominent air dam at the front and was known as the 'Batmobile.' The car was based on the E9 series which were built from 1968 to 1975 with 30,000 manufactured and was replaced by the BMW 6 series.
