HISTORY.
The Dodge Charger was initially produced in 1966 as a spacious two door coupe competing with the Ford Mustang and Ford Thunderbird. This style continued through four generations to 1978 although it was re-introduced twice in 1981 and 2005.

This model is a second generation car with the high performance 7.2litre V8 engine designated R/T (Road/Track). It featured as the "baddies' car in the iconic chase scene from Steve McQueen's 1968 film Bullitt as well as the featured car in the television series Dukes of Hazzard known as the 'General Lee.'
