Ford in the late 1960s and 1970s enjoyed considerable rally success with the Mexico, followed by the RS1600 which had a twin cam crossflow engine and then the RS200 Mk1 which returned to a single over head cam to improve reliability and was manufactured between 1972 to 1974.
