Starsky and Hutch was an American police show featuring David Starsky and Ken Hutchinson played by Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul that ran from 1975-79 that was than revived as film in 2004 starring Ben Stiller and Owen Watson.
The star of the show for the young petrolheads was the 1976 2 door Ford Gran Torino with a 351cu in V8 engine painted with a distinctive white stripe on red paintwork that on screen looked a lot faster and meaner than the model actually was and was produced from 1968 to 1976.
