HISTORY.
The Jaguar 3.8S type was always depicted as the villain's getaway car in TV shows although in real life they reputedly used the Ford Transit. It had a six cylinder engine available in three sizes 2.4, 3.4 and 3.8 the faster of which had a top speed of 122mph and a 0-60mph of 10.2 seconds which was very respectable for the 1960s. Overall 26,000 vehicles were produced from 1963 to 1968 when it was replaced by the Jaguar 420.
