HISTORY - The Morris Minor Traveller was launched in 1952 as a new variant of the original Morris Minor saloon from 1948. The iconic vehicle with its unique ash wood frame was originally supplied with an 800cc engine and a split front windscreen but in 1956 they replaced it with a one piece and a new 950cc engine. In 1962 with the Series V they uprated the engine to 1098cc, gave it larger front brakes, uprated the gear box resulting in a top speed of 77mph. A symbol its era normally driven in films by vicars and members of the village WI it ceased production in 1971 after 180,000 had been produced.
