HISTORY.
The Plymouth Belvedere was manufactured by Chrysler from 1954 to 1970 undergoing seven generations of which three were known as the Intermediate series where the vehicle was shortened and changed character. This model is the Third generation which was produced between 1957 to 1959 and came in a variety of styles from two door sedan to four door station wagon and a range of engines from 3.8l to 5.7l - The car shares a certain notoriety of being part of the horror film Christine 1983, al though in the story the car is purportedly to be a Plymouth Fury they were only produced in Beige with Gold trim therefore the Belvedere was quite often used as the stunt double and as they used 25 cars it was cheaper than using resprayed Furys all the time.
