PHOTOGRAPH I took this photograph at a Slinfold classic car event August 2019 HISTORY The Triumph Spitfire was originally devised by Standard-Triumph to compete in the small sports car market that had opened up with the introduction of the Austin-Healey Sprite and produced from 1962-1980. The 1500 was the last model to be produced that replaced the Mk4 with a larger engine from 1296cc to 1493cc giving it a top speed of 100mph and a 0-62mph of 13.2sconds.
