HISTORY - The Triumph Spitfire was an open topped sports car based on the Triumph Herald and designed by Italian Giovanni Michelotti and produced between 1962 to 1980. The Mark 3 featured a 1296cc 4 cylinder engine and was produced between 1967 to 1970. The 1500 was the last model to be produced that replaced the Mk4 with a larger engine from 1296cc to 1493cc giving it a top speed of 100mph and a 0-62mph of 13.2seconds.
